New York ETO hosts luncheon for women professionals

Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York, Maisie Ho, hosted an exclusive luncheon on March 14, with women leaders from New York’s banking, finance, legal, non-profit, and technology sectors. The event facilitated a rich dialogue with Joyce Chan, Commissioner for Women’s Affairs of Hong Kong’s Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, who was in New York for the 69th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

Attendees engaged in thought-provoking conversations about advancing women’s empowerment, navigating work-life balance challenges, and creating pathways to inspire the next generation of women leaders. Ms. Chan also shared insights from Hong Kong’s Women Commission and highlighted ongoing efforts to support and uplift women in the city, alongside key takeaways from the UN conference.
